Our experience with Be Here and Café de Lenguas was truly fantastic. For some time I had been searching for a way to donate my time but always struggled with the commitment of a fixed schedule. With Be Here, and how easy it was to book and have all the details sent over, that isn't a problem anymore. The experience itself was heartwarming, and it was fulfilling to give back and learn at the same time. Will definitely be booking again!
Me and a friend signed up last minute to the session at Bú Bup Parc, as we live locally and had wanted to check it out for a while. We had a great morning! Sabine took us round the shelter and explained the work they do and how they look after the dogs. We took two dogs out on a long walk, and spent some time in the kennels playing with them and just being with them to help provide a calming environment. It was a lovely experience and I was really happy to support the work they do. Would definitely repeat!
We really enjoyed this experience, where we learned about the situation at El Jardinet and connected with the volunteers. It was very rewarding to help out in the space where these kitties live, and we even got to feed them Churu treats. We recommend it to animal lovers!

A lot of small organisations here are doing brilliant work with almost no resources, and they need all the support they can get. The trouble is they usually can't take someone on for a one-off. There's no time to train a person for a single day, and no spare hands to manage it, so the people who'd love to help never really get the chance. Be Here is a way around that. Your donation covers the organisation for having you, they decide what the experience is and when it runs, and you get to spend real time with them and see the work up close. Small acts, real local impact. That's the whole idea.
